BEACH St. A GoGo!

A Tribute To The Groovy Sounds Of The 60’s.. LIVE!

This 6 person family friendly event band located out of Valley Village California has a big sound, made up of professional hard working musicians who all have many years of entertainment experience under their belts.

Originally formed in 2011 by founder and lead singer TJ Rosenman in Florida, now carfully recast on the West Coast in 2017 and entertaining audiences at festivals, corporate events, private functions, social clubs, VFW’s, Restaurants with entertainment, weddings, nightclubs and car shows.

We’ve carefully chosen songs that are fun to listen, dance and sing along to, shying away from the psychedelic songs of that time.  Almost every song is a

#1 Hit or Top 10 from Billboard magazine’s 1960’s top 100.

Hits from The Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis, Those Fab 60’s Girl Groups, One Hit Wonders, Motown and More!

While one tribute band plays only songs from one particular band or singer, at a

BEACH St. A GoGo! show your audience can Rock, Roll and Remember as we play close to 50 “BOSS” hits in a three hour show by over 40 bands or singers that defined a generation.  You BOOK A DECADE of Hits!

Our shows are flexible and can be one, two or three hours and include costume changes, audience participation and stories of the bands and the music that made them famous.  Our audiences are multi generational.  From the young to the young at heart who don’t have a chance to hear the songs of their youth being played live anymore. They love what we do and we make your event memorable.

We work hand in hand with each client who hires us promoting the up-coming show vigorously via elecronic media, flyers, and more, knowing how important advance work is to generate as much excitement and attendance for our appearance.

Keith Alexander

Drums

Keith has been beating the drums since the ripe young age of nine.  Playing in his elementary school band and continuing through high school. The highlight of his school musical experience  was playing the snare drum in his award winning high school marching band taking first place in the City Championships three years in a row.

Keith has been inspired by many drummers growing up including Gene Krupa and Louis Bellson. He took drum lessons from Louie Bellson’s brother Henry Belson which helped create his style of drumming.  His biggest idol was the incredible Buddy Rich whose style and technique he would try to replicate by playing along to his albums.

A love of many music genres has led Keith to partcipate in a variety of bands. He was a founding member of two bands--the rock and roll group “Odyssey” which played all over the Los Angeles area and a 70’s/80’s dance band “Flashback Express”. He was also a member of a very successful blues band “Sabrina and the Snake Charmers” which played venues throughout Los Angeles including the famous House of Blues.

Keith has always had a love for the music of the 60’s and being a part of Beach St. A GoGo has given him the opportunity to expand on his Rock, Swing, Blues and Jazz styles while having a great time.

Keith's favorite 1960's television show is.. The Wild Wild West.

Mark's musical knowledge is only matched by his talent as a guitarist.  His love of other styles of music like Jazz and Classical continue to influence this well rounded musician.   Playing every kind of Rock with different bands for over 30 years, his love to preform made Mark a perfect fit for BEACH St. A GoGo!

Born in Michigan, he moved to the San Fernando Valley in 1979. Mark's biggest fan is his wonderful wife Stephanie.  She loves what he does and supports him even when he brings home another guitar for his collection.

Mark's favoriate 1960's television show is...

Bob began playing music in local bars, night clubs and cabaret circuit in Philadelphia and New Jersey.  After moving to California in the late 80’s, and taking a few years off to raise a family, he came back to music and has played in countless tribute bands (Foreigner, Pink Floyd, The Cars, Huey Lewis & The News, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the list goes on).

But Bob has always had a passion for the sounds and songs of the 60’s and he spends countless hours recreating the keyboard, piano and organ sounds of the songs that made it on of the best musical decades of all time.

His favorite 60 TV Show … “Get Smart”

"Fish" Olmos

Fender Bass, Vocals

A native of Los Angeles, "The Fish" grew up in a household where music was a constant presence.
His mother sang and played the piano, while his father possessed an extensive record collection which contained a diversity of genres such as classical music, jazz, and of course, rock. The Beatles provided Fish's gateway to the sounds of the '60s at an early age, along with the vocal harmonies of the Beach Boys ("'Good Vibrations' was the first Beach Boys song I heard!") and the Four Seasons.Given the intensity of his passion for music, it seemed natural that Fish would learn to play an instrument. Starting to play drums at the age of eight, at ten, he began piano lessons, taking up the guitar at 11and the bass at 16, he formed his first band in high school.  Fish has been a presence in the Los Angeles music scene for over 15 years, happily sharing his encyclopedic knowledge of and enthusiasm for popular music with anyone who cares to listen. He has played guitar or bass with numerous original and tribute/cover bands, as well as accompanied various solo artists on guitar.  An accomplished multi-instrumentalist (guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele, dulcimer, drums, percussion), he also has an ear for vocal harmony. Being part of BEACH St. A GoGo seems to be a perfect fit for this talented musician.

The Fish's favorite '60s TV show... "Hey hey! We're the Monkees!"
